Treatments for cystic acne vary greatly depending on the person and what works for you. While this may not be what you are looking for some skin lotions ad medications can interfere with what medications the patient is already taking. Basic treatments can include the use of antibiotics or over the counter lotions used with other medications. Accutane is very popular for treating this form of cystic acne which does not react to other forms of medication intervention. That being said that can have side effects and should not be taken or administered without first consulting with a doctor before you start any treatment on your cystic acne.

What Should I do?
You should keep in mind that acne is just a temporary phase and you should not pop them. By squeezing and popping them you end up leaving a permanent scare on your skin. The scar removal lotions and creams that you see at your local drug store will have little to no effect on the damaged areas of your skin. By squeezing them pits can also form on the skin, these are permanent and impossible to get rid of unless you opt for plastic surgery. Finally to ensure you stay acne free do not stop treatment until a dermatologist recommends so. Even if you think your skin looks clear stopping medication early can start the process of getting rid of your cystic acne all over again.
